Who are we?

We are the originators and manufacturers of unique whelping products. We have a factory near Wells in Somerset where, if you live close enough we would be pleased to meet you.

The story behind Newdog!

After spending a New Years Eve with friends and during that time their bitch whelped we realised the need for a non ruck whelping mat®.
The sheet of fleece, that was being used was not at all satisfactory because as she dug, the fleece ended up in a heap in the whelping box with puppies scattered and buried underneath it. Since this time we have witnessed other whelpings with our unique Whelping mat ®. and every thing is much less stressful for both you and the bitch and the puppies stay safe.
We have been producing our unique Non Ruck Whelping Mats® since 2002.
In 2003 we developed our disposable whelping boxes in response to huge demand and we have sent these along with our non ruck mats all over the U.K. and abroad, being sent as far a field as Barbados and Russia!!
