The base of this dog bed is made of foam and so keeps its shape amazingly well and the fact that the cover is removed to wash makes it even better and easy to keep clean. The only slight issue i have is with the back and sides in that after a few months they start to lose their shape somehow and are not as firm or supportive as they once were, this is a shame as this is a great feature that the dog can either snuggle into or use as a pillow! All in all i would say this is one of the best beds on the market in terms of comfort and ease to clean and would certainly recommend it.
